If you receive an email like this I suggest you do one of two things:

1) You can report the message as spam to www.spamcop.net. They can trace who sent it and often get the accounts that are used closed.

2) You can ignore the message and then register the domain they mention at your registrar of choice for the normal fee. If you register the domain with the scammer, you will have to FAX them the information because they are a spammer and they are charging you about 10 TIMES the normal free of $8. Yes, if you register with them for one year it will cost you $75! That's almost what it would cost you to register the domain for 10 years at most honest registrars.

I just checked at www.domaintools.com and the domain they are telling me about is not registered, so I can register it at Domainsite.com, Namecheap.com, Name.com, or anyplace I want to.

Aside from the massive overcharging of fees, you also have to wonder who the hell these people are and why they have to hide what they do? Well, I think that is pretty clear. They are spammers and they may also be scammers as well, so you risk paying the money and getting NOTHING in return.

We advise that you NEVER use products or services that are advertised in spam or unsolicited commercial email (UCE). If someone contacts you with a personal message, that's not so bad, but anything like this is spam and should be reported.
